"The disputed line of influence of the cooks of Catherine de Medici" on French cuisine.  One site doesn't see a disputed line here.  Table manners seem to be of more importance here.  Her knickers are given an airing here or, at least, the possibility that she invented them.   Can this site provide the answer here? [The pic is from the last site.]
