The visual pyramid


Here is one face of the culinary pyramid:

The captions are transferable to new locations and are colour-coded* so that new locations are evident.   An initial outcome can be a discussion of the terms themselves.  Students can wheel their chairs close to the the pyramid.  Feedback of all types will be welcome.

It has come a long way and here it is in more visual form:








It has been constructed in this way as a compromise between the original and the final culinary pyramid.  

Here it is with arrows which remind us to think we are taking the bird's eye view of a pyramid while still keeping to two dimensions:




The not-long-departed Levi-Strauss here will be pleased to reflect that his triangle has found yet another home.  The arrows point to his central concepts which are seen from all four pyramid viewpoints.
