The Royal Table

 The Royal Table

This page gives further information on the royal table and it is presented as a table.  It relates to the article here.

Monarchs are shown in red and the lower levels such as Archiduchesses are in blue.

The "Garnish" column in green text indicates a general garnish which can be applied to unspecified dishes.

The next columns show garnishes across the courses of the meal.  The "Total" column  gives an impression of the use of specific monarchs or lower ranks across the historic menu.

The "Additional information" column gives further variations of specific monarchial etc garnishes and also shows that a name can apply to a monarch and someone else.

Some of those mentioned are described in earlier articles of mine in the journal.  Others will be explained therein later.

The table has been created for those who only want to refresh their memories as to when a specific monarch lived and others who want much more.

Please use the Contact page for answers to questions or to make comment.  Further contact information is on the Letters page - p 25 of the December journal.
